New Castle County Head Start, Inc. Announces Key Staff Changes

(Wilmington, Del.) – New Castle County Head Start, Inc. is pleased to announce the following staff changes:

Debra Drueding of Middletown has been promoted to the position of Controller. Drueding has been with New Castle County Head Start, Inc. for 15 years serving in the roles of Assistant Controller and Staff Accountant. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Wilmington University.

Wendy Marsilii of Wilmington has been promoted to the position of Program Coordinator. Marsilii has over 20 years of experience in early childhood education including 13 years as a New Castle County Head Start, Inc. Center Coordinator. She holds an Associate’s degree in Early Childhood Education and Bachelor’s degree in General Studies from Wilmington University.

Leslie Hurm of Elkton, Md. has been hired as Assistant Controller. Hurm has eight years of experience in financial planning and accounting. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the University of Delaware.

New Castle County Head Start, Inc. started its 26th academic year on September 19, 2011. The early childhood education program is devoted to promoting the school readiness of over 600 preschool children, including children with disabilities, from low-income families at nine centers throughout New Castle County, Delaware.
