Wilmington, Del. – New Castle County Head Start, Inc. Board of Directors elected the following officers for 2012: Randy Roberts, Chairperson; David Facciolo, Vice Chairperson; Marty Carlino, Treasurer; and J.D. Lee, Secretary.
Randy Roberts will be serving his second consecutive term as Chairperson of the New Castle County Head Start, Inc. Board of Directors. Since joining the board, Roberts has served as the PR Committee Chair and Vice Chairperson. Roberts is a Business Process Manager at JP Morgan & Chase in the Creative Services area of marketing operations. He also volunteers with The Ministry of Caring and Ronald McDonald House and serves as President of his community civic association.
Long-term Head Start advocate David Facciolo will begin his second term as Vice Chairperson of the New Castle County Head Start, Inc. Board of Directors. Facciolo has held various board positions since 1992 and has made many contributions to the agency and community including assisting with the implementing the agency’s current governance structure. He is a 2010 recipient of the New Castle County Head Start, Inc. Ethel M. Cooper Outstanding Service Award as well as a 2008 recipient of the Delaware Center for Justice Annual Recognition as a child advocate. Facciolo is Managing Partner of Minster & Facciolo, LLC and has in the past served as volunteer and board member for several community based agencies including Small Wonders of Delaware, Delaware Mentor Program, Delaware Perinatal Association, and Children and Families First.
Treasurer Marty Carlino is a Commercial Lender at WSFS Bank. He is a member of the New Castle County Chamber of Commerce and volunteers at the Ronald McDonald House. Secretary J.D. Lee designs machinery for the pharmaceutical industry at FP Developments Inc. Lee serves as chair for the Strategic Planning Committee of Head Start; President & CCO of TGS, an engineering company; and CFO of LDW, a property management company. Lee also serves as President of The Maintenance Corp for his residential development.
New Castle County Head Start, Inc. welcomes new board members Sylvia Brooks, Donald Goldberg and Donzell Harmon. The agency also recognizes outgoing board members Murray Dingwall and Louis Hering for their service and commitment to the Head Start program.
